The Scent of Love

and yet it hypnotizes your senses
so that all you ever smell
is that love; overpowering.
Wrapping you in the comfort
of home, the memory of childhood
or scenes of passion.
This scent permeates your soul;
bringing you back to the one.
The one that started your body,
stirred your mind and prickled your soul.
It is the one that you ache to be without,
the inseperable part of yoursef.
This scent of love is within you,
exudes from you and you can do nothing
but take a deep breath and feel:
Love it is an essence and you
have just shared mine.
