The Gift
Author: londonlady
Filed in: submission, peace, gift, presenceHis gift to me was immeasurable
His time was limited
But the beauty of the love
Was without measure
His gift was given to me
Here in my Oasis
He held the key
To more than the lock
He taught me of my beauty
I glowed in His words
I hear His whispers to me
I feel His skin
He slides beneath the sheets
His skin cool against my heat
He’s say
I’m home.
I mourn His leaving
He made the sacrifice
Of pushing me towards the light
But I hold onto the darkness
I should embrace the light
But it is Him I wish to embrace.
